Plug&Plate is the first case study and the first client of the PlugBox API suite.

A restaurant management system that allows restaurant owners to manage their Delivery and Click & Collect orders on a single customized platform that has everything the restaurant needs using only a visual administrative interface and without any knowledge of IT elements. This allows users to concentrate on their core business.

StockBox

This service revolutionized the way Plug and Plate helped restaurants manage their inventory.

It uses the cloud-based Stockbox service as the engine for an e-commerce site to manage stock, inventory management and the creation of saleable items. In the case of Plug&Plate, these are represented by plates and formulas.  

RDV Service

Coordinating appointments and reservations has never been easier. With an intuitive interface and customizable options, restaurants were able to improve their customers’ experience, reduce wait times and optimize their service schedules.

POST Service

From promotions and announcements to internal communications, POST helped ensure that everyone was informed and aligned, improving customer service and internal operations.

BA Service

Restaurants were able to access advanced analytics and performance data. 

This enabled more informed decision making, helping to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

 

Conclusion and results

This first stage in the development of PlugBox API services has been designed to result in a first release candidate capable of offering the most basic functionalities required to start up an online sales service compatible with at least the majority of currently identified needs.

On a larger scale, the PlugBox service promises to be extensive and has the potential to reach many different areas. In our case study, we are concentrating on the catering sector; however, this represents only a portion of the potential market that could be reached by incorporating other areas: retail, services, parts, etc.
